Other agencies
These other regional and national agencies monitor financial crime and fraud, while also providing information on the latest scams to watch out for:
- Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre: Helps you file your complaint online and forwards it to the appropriate law enforcement or regulatory agency and/or private organization for possible investigation. They also provide support for education, prevention and awareness of economic crimes.
- Better Business Bureau of Mainland B.C.: A private, non-profit, self-regulatory organization, dedicated to promoting fairness and honesty in the marketplace.
- Competition Bureau: An independent law enforcement agency that ensures Canadian businesses and consumers operate in a competitive and innovative marketplace.
