Balance protection insurance.

Life happens. Get balance protection insurance⁺ on your enviro Visa card so your finances are protected when the unexpected happens.

What’s included:

If your earnings are interrupted by disability, involuntary job loss, or strike, a monthly payment representing 5% of your outstanding balance on your credit card statement will be made to your account, up to a maximum of $25,000.
In the event of a diagnosis of a critical illness due to cancer, stroke, or heart attack, accidental dismemberment/paraplegia, or if you pass away, a lump sum payment will be made based on your outstanding account balance up to a maximum of $25,000, pre-existing conditions may apply.

No premium is charged if your account does not have a balance.
The monthly premium rate is expressed as $0.83 per $100 of the outstanding balance on your credit card. For example, if your monthly balance is $500, you will pay $4.15 per month (plus applicable taxes). 
Get a 30-day trial, which begins on the date you receive the Product Guide and Certificate of Insurance. If you cancel within this 30-day period, you will receive a full refund of any premium(s) you paid to your credit card account.

You must be the primary cardholder of a retail enviro Visa credit card.
Self-employed individuals are not eligible for Job loss or Strike Insurance.
Maximum enrollment age is 59 years of age for Critical Illness Insurance.
Maximum enrollment age is 69 years of age for Disability, Job Loss or Strike, Life and Accidental Dismemberment/Paraplegia Insurance.
All coverage terminates at 70 years of age.
