How to activate your card.
Now that your enviro™ Visa* card has arrived, it’s time to activate it so you can start using it right away. It’s simple and takes as little as five minutes.

Who can activate online?
Primary Cardholders and Account Administrators.
Vancity members:
Activate your card by logging in on your computer, table or mobile device.
Non-Vancity members:
To activate your card online:
Register your card
Go to Manage my Visa card and register your account if you haven’t already.
Activate your card
Choose “Activate my card” from the “I want to…” dropdown. Confirm that the card you are activating matches the last four digits on the pop-up screen.
Confirm activation
After you click “Activate,” you should receive an email confirmation.

Who can activate over the phone?
Primary Cardholders, Account Administrators and Authorized Users.
Call us
You can reach us 24/7 at 604-877-4999 or 1-800-611-8472 (toll-free). You’ll be asked to enter the 16-digit account number plus the date of birth and phone number associated with the account.
Register your login
Go to Manage my Visa card to register if you haven’t already.
With this login, you can view your transactions, manage your account, and redeem your Vancity Rewards points (if applicable). Only Primary Cardholders and Account Administrators can register for Manage my Visa card.
Tips and tricks.
- You don’t need your PIN to activate the card.
- To activate the tap to pay features of your card, you’ll need to insert your card into the chip and PIN terminal and sign for your first transaction. Then, you can tap for purchases up to $250 at participating stores.
- Look for the following symbol on the card reader. Not every store accepts tap to pay at this time.
