Squamish Savings Ed Antosh Memorial Bursary

In recognition of Ed Antosh, one of 14 founding members of Squamish Savings, we are pleased to help his legacy live on in perpetuity by providing two bursaries in the name of Squamish Savings Ed Antosh Memorial Bursary.

Criteria

The Squamish Savings Ed Antosh Memorial Bursaries are part of the credit union's annual shared success and two $1,000.00 bursaries are awarded to local students entering post secondary education based on criteria set as follows:

  • Must show ongoing commitment to volunteering in the Squamish community
  • Must provide letter from a volunteer organization to validate commitment
  • Must provide resume along with 500 words essay explaining how volunteering has shaped their values and perspectives and impacted their lives.

Applying

Applications will be available at Howe Sound Secondary School. It is the responsibility of the Howe Sound Secondary School Selection Committee to review all applications and award bursaries.

Bursaries will be presented by a member of the Squamish Savings Board of Directors at the graduation ceremonies of Howe Sound Secondary School.
