For: Vancity was named one of BC's Top Employers for the twelfth time since the competition started in 2006. This special designation recognizes BC employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work, based on criteria like physical workplace, work atmosphere, benefits, vacation, training, and community involvement. From: Canada's Top 100 Employers
For: Vancity was named one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People for the second time, with editors recognizing how Vancity encourages ongoing employee development with generous tuition subsidies as well as a unique 'live and work' co-op training option for employees interested in visiting Bologna, Italy, where co-operatives account for one-third of the city's economic activity. Award: Highest Customer Service – Banking Industry
Who: Vancity
From: Service Quality Measurement (SQM)
For: For the third year in a row, Vancity’s Member Services Centre has received a Highest Customer Service – Banking Industry award from Service Quality Measurement (SQM), a leading North American customer experience research firm. The award is based on the results of post-call member surveys SQM conducted in 2017 and represents the highest first-call resolution across the entire banking sector. The team was also recognized for receiving the Highest Satisfaction with its sales approach.
