Initiatives supported by systems transformation grants must align strongly with at least one of our priority impact areas: Affordable Housing, Climate Action, Co-ops & Local Economies, and Equity & Reconciliation.
What we support.
Systems Transformation Grants support initiatives that:
- Address root causes, not just symptoms
- Influence systems, policies, practices, or sector wide ways of working
- Take a multi solving approach, creating benefits across communities, sectors, or impact areas
- Contribute to long term, sustainable change
Funding may support collaboration, learning, coordination or advocacy, in addition to program delivery.
How we work.
We take a partnership based, trust based approach to systems transformation granting. This means we aim to:
- Work alongside partners through reciprocal relationships
- Emphasize shared learning, co creation, and mutual value
- Minimize administrative burden where possible
- Be transparent, responsive, and flexible
Where appropriate, grants may include multi year and/or core funding to support long term work and organizational sustainability.

Who is this for.
These grants are intended for organizations well positioned to lead or contribute to systems level change.
We prioritize partnerships with BIPOC led and serving organizations and initiatives that intentionally address structural inequities and shift power toward communities most impacted by systemic exclusion.
