Non-redeemable term deposit

• $500 minimum investment
• term lengths from 12 months to 60 months
• interest guaranteed and compounded annually
• only redeemable at maturity, at the end of the term

3-year escalating term deposit

Provides you with an interest rate guaranteed to rise each year and the flexibility to switch to another Vancity investment without penalty.

• $500 minimum investment
• rates guaranteed to increase each year
• pays higher average interest rate than regular three-year term deposits
• interest compounded annually
• redeemable only at maturity, but convertible on each anniversary to another Vancity term deposit or investment, or a Credential® investment

5-year escalating term deposit

Guaranteed annual rate increases keep your returns on the rise. On the third and fourth anniversary, you are free to switch your investment to any Vancity investment option without penalty.

• $500 minimum investment
• rates guaranteed to increase each year
• pays higher average interest rate than regular five-year term deposits
• interest compounded annually
• redeemable only at maturity, but convertible on the third and fourth anniversary to another Vancity term deposit or investment, or a Credential® investment

If you transfer your investment to another financial institution once it matures, a $25 transfer fee applies. $25 annual account fee applies to your RESP contracts.
