Sending


The fee to send an INTERAC e-Transfer will be withdrawn from your account at the time of the transfer. The fee is non-refundable. Should you recall or cancel the INTERAC e-Transfer or if the recipient does not accept the funds, the fee will not be refunded.

Starting Friday, February 1, 2019, you can send INTERAC e-Transfer transactions for free from the E Package Chequing account, Access Chequing account and Independent Business Account . Also, the monthly fee for the E Package Chequing account will increase by $0.75 from $7 to $7.75 and the monthly fee for the Independent Business Account will increase by $0.50 from $6 to $6.50.

Receiving


There is no fee associated with receiving an INTERAC e-Transfer.

Requesting


When requesting an INTERAC e-Transfer using ‘Request Money,’ the fee is withdrawn from your account at the time the transfer is deposited into your account. The fee is non-refundable. Should you recall or cancel the INTERAC e-Transfer or if the recipient does not accept the funds, the fee will not be refunded.

Starting Friday, February 1, 2019, you can request an INTERAC e-Transfer using ‘Request Money’ for free from the E Package Chequing account, Access Chequing account and Independent Business Account . Savings tip

You can avoid the INTERAC e-Transfer fee when you transfer funds to another Vancity member by selecting Transfer to Another Member on the Transfer Money page – instead of sending an e-Transfer. To do this, you will need your recipient's Vancity relationship number.
