Ecojustice aims to win itself out of work in the fight for environmental protection

Ecojustice strives to be out of business. The organization, a collection of lawyers and scientists across four offices in Canada, is working for a protected environment and sees its ultimate objective as being obsolete in a fight that no longer exists.

Established in 1990 and partners with Vancity since then, Ecojustice offers free legal services on cases it believes will affect and guide Canadian environmental law. The organization also conducts outreach campaigns, workshops, investigations and reports that influence decisions and opinions towards stronger environmental protection efforts.

Ecojustice continues to expand with the support of thousands of donors and socially responsible organizations like Vancity.
