Lisa Coltart

Senior Vice President, Enterprise Services

As Senior Vice President of Enterprise Services, Lisa Coltart ensures Vancity has the talent, capital and brand to innovate, create impact and deliver on business outcomes. Her role includes oversight of marketing and communications, people solutions, finance and treasury, and facilities and environmental management.

Lisa joined Vancity in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing a team of professionals focused on ensuring the credit union is financially accountable and innovative, and acts with integrity in all that it does.

What she especially likes about Vancity is the opportunity to combine the discipline of finance, with a social and environmental viewpoint that means the credit union uses its entire balance sheet in support of making an impact in the communities it serves.

Lisa is passionate about empowering people and seeing them grow and do amazing things. She believes that when this part is done correctly, a team innovates and creates successful outcomes that benefit members and communities.

Before joining Vancity, Lisa was an executive director at BC Hydro responsible for Customer Care and Power Smart, one of North America’s leading energy conservation programs. In that role, she oversaw a three-fold growth of the program over eight years. Prior to that, she was the Finance vice president and secretary for the General Hydrogen Corporation. Before that, she held director-level positions with Crystal Decisions and Fletcher Challenge Canada and management roles at PWC.

Lisa is committed to giving back to the community. She currently sits on the board of the Canadian Sport Institute - Pacific Region and the YWCA. She served as a board member and finance committee chair with Vancouver Community College for seven years, and has volunteered for the United Way campaign and acted as treasurer for Ronald McDonald House.

Born in BC and raised in Metro Vancouver, Lisa and her husband Jay live in Kitsilano. Lisa enjoys walking her miniature Labradoodle Clancy along the beach in the Pacific Spirit Park trails.
