Flexible benefits explained
Permanent employees select options from a host of benefits using flex credits (otherwise known as employer money). We acknowledge needs may change over time. Therefore, employees will be able to change their elections annually during the open enrollment period or when they experience a qualifying life event (i.e. marriage, newborn, etc.). Our plan also allows employees to coordinate benefits with their partner or spouse’s plan.

100% reimbursement

Paramedical services (i.e. Massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic) - Up to $1,500 combined maximum per year

Vision Care - $275/two years with a separate maximum of $100/two years for eye exams

Dental

Four options

100% preventative & restorative/75% major/$2,000/person for orthodontics with a 50% lifetime maximum

Fillings – limited to a $ amount equal to 5-surface filling per tooth every two years

X-Rays & exams – once every three years

Polishing & fluoride -once every six months

Basic Life Insurance

Three options (including core benefits)

Two times base earnings to a maximum of $1,000,000

Optional life insurance available for purchase (dependents eligible to apply)

Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD & D)

One option

Two times base earnings to a maximum of $1,000,000

Optional accidental & death dismemberment coverage available for purchase (dependents eligible to apply)

Long-term disability

Two Options for Taxable and Two Options for Non-Taxable

Cost of Living Allowance (COLA)

 

Deluxe Emergency Travel Assistance

Optional benefit

Combined maximum expense of $5,000 per family per medical emergency

Coverage includes return of vehicle, transportation and accommodation of an immediate family member, repatriation, etc.

 

Health Spending Account (HSA)

Optional benefit available for purchase using flex credits

Covers eligible medical expenses that fall outside our plans

 

Purchased Time Off

Optional benefit available for purchase using flex credits

Up to 6 days of paid time off
